Winter Growth has indeed proven to be a place, ‘Where friendships grow and care is extraordinary.’ For our family and especially for our son, Winter Growth has been the answer to our prayers.

Winter Growth’s Day Program was a tremendous resource for my mother and me. It gave my mother pleasure away from home where she could make new friends, have quality time, and be herself.

Angela Henson
Pasadena, MD

It’s been such a blessing to have my mom attend the Day Program. Winter Growth is like a second home for her because she gets to hang with her friends, play bingo, dance, do crafts, attend holiday functions, see plays and so much more.

Gloria Davis
Ellicott City, MD

I will be forever grateful for Winter Growth Medical Day Center for their loving care of my mother. Without the day program and respite care, she would not have had the quality of life and the ability to live happily with her daughter in the community. THANK YOU!!!

Pat Lawson
Silver Spring, MD

The services you offer — the bus trip there, activities and outings, lunch and snacks, and the trip back home — provide the social connections that are so important for my brother.

SOCIAL INTERACTION

Winter Growth believes seniors and adults with disabilities have the ability to enjoy meaningful relationships and experiences, so each day we create opportunities for everyone to be an active member of the community.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

Clients are encouraged to participate in daily exercise programs to maintain their strength and balance, which in turn improves ambulation and decreases the risk of falls.

COGNITIVE PROGRAMS

Daily brain fitness activities stimulate memory and positively impact clients’ ability to independently perform day-to-day activities including eating and dressing.

MEDICATION MANAGEMENT

Nursing staff is available to administer both oral and other types of medication to ensure clients’ treatment remains consistent.

TRANSPORTATION

Makes it easy for community members to be a part of Winter Growth’s program, participate in outings, and get to appointments.

The program runs from 9am to 3pm, Monday through Friday, and participants can attend anywhere from two to five days a week. If longer hours are needed, Respite Care is also available. Ready to sign up? Reach out to our Montgomery County or Howard County Center to schedule a tour.
